Dr. Beatriz Lopez Melgar, Head of the New MyoStrain® Cardiac Prevention Program at Sanitas Healthcare, Addressed the MSI Board To Speak About the Importance of MyoStrain®

MORRISVILLE, N.C., July 19, 2022 – Dr. Melgar presented five cases where she demonstrated the clinical value of MyoStrain® over traditional metrics and current standard of care protocols. She evaluated and explained how MyoStrain provides additional information when making treatment decisions.

In all five cases, the information from MyoStrain either helped confirm her suspicions, validated existing treatment results, or helped determine a proper course of treatment.

Dr. Melgar is an advocate of MyoStrain and, from her experience, believes that MyoStrain should be a first-line test for its reproducibility, accuracy, and sensitivity to detect early dysfunction over current imaging and testing modalities to obtain a general assessment of a patient’s heart. She confirmed that the MyoStrain report provides a wealth of new data and understanding that is not available through traditional testing.
